Physical therapy clinic Creative Therapeutics is announcing that it has partnered with Doctors of Physical Therapy, a company with clinical locations across Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan that shares their philosophy of one-on-one, evidence-based, patient-centered care. Creative Therapeutics will retain all its staff and clinicians as well as its full program of classes and workshops. This partnership greatly expands the clinic's ability to accept most insurance carriers, allowing them to serve a much broader range of patients throughout the community while maintaining the same focus on individualized, compassionate care.
"We're still the same people and place that you know and love, but we're excited to have the support and resources of the DPT team," says co-owner Mark Mattson, whose wife, Lynn Batalden, DPT, OCS, founded Creative Therapeutics 22 years ago. "DPT is a company with great people and outstanding values and ethics. They believe in one-on-one patient care, and that was a crucial component for Lynn and me." Another factor was the ability to increase their network of accepted insurance providers. "Those who haven't felt able to make an appointment in the past because they were out-of-network will soon be able to come to us, again. Being in-network is going to make a lot of our patients happy!"
Creative Therapeutics plans to celebrate the new partnership with Doctors of Physical Therapy with a DeKalb Chamber of Commerce After Hours event on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 5:00-7:00 PM. The party will have an Oktoberfest theme. The clinic is located at 400 E. Hillcrest in DeKalb.
